Nice to see Monkeys an Coati Mundis running around the place between trips to the pool, bar, etc etc
We went there last year, with our then 3-year-old! We all loved it - great facilities for kids of all ages, lots of wildlife and it really does feel like you're somewhere special, not just at any AI resort on a beach. Would def recommend and return!

We have stayed in the Grand Bahia Tulum on the Riviera Maya and the Iberostar in Cancun and we have just booked the Moon Palace for next August in Cancun. The Riviera Maya is stunning but can be quiet depending where you stay. Tulum was a bit too quiet for us hence we tried Cancun. Cancun is great and if you get bored there's losts to see and do including large shopping malls.
One thing I did notice about the Riviera Maya, no where near as many Americans... Cancun on the other hand was mostly Americans and wow, do they like to drink and party (lots go for a short break so they hammer it).
One thing common between the two, any white/pale swim wear will be ruined by a subtle yellow colour that comes from the water. Unsurprising really when you see people at the pool bar at 10am and they haven't moved at 3pm despite drinking all day

Mental note to avoid the pools
