Travel insurance

I will ring my travel insurance but does anyone know if your travel insurance automatically renews if you are covered if current virus spreads ?
I know I�m covered at the moment but my annual travel insurance expires in July and usually automatically renews . My trip to South Korea and Japan is end of August . I did not know about virus in July last year but clearly ( if it�s a problem ) I will when my travel insurance renews .
Would I be covered anyway or not ?
Only occurred to me today and seems unfair if I�m not .
Hopefully it will be fine by then anyway 😏

When your renewal comes through, as it's covering those countries already, I'm sure they will have assessed the travel risk and factored this into the price. They may well write to you and give you travel advice about those countries. To be safe, I would call them to confirm.
