Thank you.

We have the villa booked for next Nov but not the flights yet as not released at the minute. Been around 15 times Nov into Dec but only once for actual Christmas back in 2009. Usually had great weather as well. In 2015 we had half a dozen days in the low 90s

Never spent a single night in a WDW hotel but love visiting to see them decorated and the houses in Celebration are amazing.

Keep working on hubby.

Mick

I know you don't visit but what's happened to Golden Corral these last few months? Has it closed or operating under new buffet rules?

We get daily emails from Bob Evans and IHOP offering breakfast treats and the occasional one from Ovation. This year is the first since 2017 that we haven't had our Thanksgiving turkey at Bobs opposite Posner.

I drive past the 3 Golden Corrals on 192 pretty regularly. The one in the middle, near Celebration, has reopened. I am not sure about "new rules". I was surprised to see Ponderosa near Old Lake Wilson and Hokkiado, a Chinese near Old Town, have also reopened as buffets. A review of Hokkaido mentioned disposable gloves for customers serving themselves but I don't know anything else. Frankly, I won't be going anywhere near any of them anytime soon.

Just catching up with the thread & I remembered that when we stayed at Highgate Park a few years ago, there was regularly a sheriff car parked in the central reservation of the road in the evening.
Presumably doing speed checks? Not sure if it still happens, but worth watching for.

Still there and sometimes in an unmarked car. I've seen him flash his reds & blues at people coming out of communities without stopping at the stop sign. Just a little warning that he's seen you.

The strange things that I think about first thing in relation to "No turn on red"

I'd overlooked one within a mile of Legacy Park but it's not encountered much unless you're dropping kids off at Citrus Ridge Academy or have just shopped at CVS. Turning right out of Sand Mine Road on 27 north is a "No turn on red".

Wonder why as it doesn't follow my earlier logic of having two right turn lanes.
