London help!

We are going to london for the first time with our kids 6yo & 8months. Can anybody recommend any burger/ribs restaurants that are suitable for families?

Thanks!

TGI is always a safe bet, but where about are you staying?

How about Hard Rock Cafe? We went to The Diner in Soho for burgers and that was cool. Bodean's BBQ has burgers and ribs on the menu.

Theres a Rainforest Cafe in London and that might be fun for the kiddies.

Maxwell’s Bar and Grill in Covent Garden Is american diner style restaurant And has a big menu

You also have the likes of TGI’s and the Rainforest Cafe.

Definitely Bodeans for ‘proper’ American style bbq , the one by Tower of London is better than the Covent Garden or soho branches .
There’s also Sticky fingers in Kensington which is great .
Maxwells used to be nice in it’s original location but now it’s moved round the corner and replaced my favourite bar it’s just mediocre.
Also would not touch TGI’s with a barge pole , especially the central London ones , grotty as hell and food always cold or barely warm .

Honest Burgers near Royal Festival Hall has a good reputation - local south London chain (started off in Brixton) - they also have a chicken only burger one on The Cut. Both only a few minutes walk from your hotel

I love Honest Burger!

Otherwise Bodeans sounds like it might fit the bill

Both fine choices, as suggested above.

In short though: avoid the chains that you could visit almost anywhere, including TGI - try to find a more local/unique experience.
