Yes, you need to sign up for a Target Red Card but also need to be a US resident.

When they use that card to buy Disney gift cards at Target they receive a 5% discount so many American members use that to pay their annual dues, buy theme park tickets and to pay for DCL trips and their spending onboard.

I just wanted to say how helpful I have found this thread. I am hoping to rent out points through David's and have been looking for a way to avoid Paypal currency charges. Using Br'er Bear's instructions I set up a dollar Paypal account and for my initial test linked it to my no-fee credit card. I was unable to buy a Disney gift card at Target as when I got to the checkout it needed a US postal address (to calculate applicable tax). However I was able to buy a $25 gift card on the US shop Disney site using Paypal. It only took about an hour for the email with code to come through. I have now successfully put $25 towards my next DVC dues. Now I just need to hope I can rent out all my points. With two cancelled trips I have a lot I haven't been able to use.

I am hoping to offload some of the money sitting in my Revolut account so was going to buy some Disney e-gift cards. Can anyone tell me how to overcome having to add a US address when it comes to card billing details please? Either on the Target website or the shopDisney one.
Or is it possible if I link my Revolut card to my PayPal account (adding the US account as previously mentioned) so that I am still paying in dollars for the cards but not paying PayPal fees?
Thanks in advance! :-)

Edit:
I just went ahead and tried this on a $100 gift card and it worked! I just set my primary PayPal to US dollars and linked my Revolut card to my PayPal account. Thought I’d update for anyone who comes across this thread in the future!

How did you overcome the UK address issue? I can’t move on to the payment section as it won’t accept my address.

Use the address of the Disney Resort, worked for us.
