Rather than lose points we’ve used RCI and booked the London hotel via concierge both options worked out really well.
It’s not our beloved Disney but the points are better spent that way than lost in our opinion...

What have you managed to book via RCI? Whenever I’ve looked into it I’ve never found anything in the UK that was available?

The London hotel on Concierge is minimum 64 points a night. It looks like they only have standard rooms which sleep 2? You have to pay $95 to make the booking.

But you can book the rooms direct for £192/night. Disregarding the $95 booking fee. That’s only a value of £3/point?

I just checked a like for like booking based on our London dates this year, it’s £300 for B&B, we paid $95 to make the booking plus 64 points...

RCI wise we’ve been to Scotland and the Lakes...

We could do with a ‘Recommended RCI property’ thread in case more of us have to take the ‘nuclear option’.

I'm losing hope that we will be able to go in November, I remember when I moved my booking from April I thought no way will it still be shutdown in Nov. When is the latest we can move points to RCI, I mean the ones that were extended to the end of was it Nov or Dec this year? I'm also considering cancelling my April 2021 booking and banking this years points.

Why not rent them or move them to RCI?
