Playing with my camera after a 4 year break

We have had some beautiful sunsets recently and on our evening walks have seen people heading up our hill with picnics and cameras. We decided to join them on Friday night and I got out my camera and with dh helping I managed to get some shots I am quite pleased with. Apart from the trees they haven't been "played" with. The trees ground line has been straightened as I was resting the camera on a wonky fence post. The trees actually bend that way due to the prevailing wind!

Lovely sunsets. The Silhouetted trees make for a great shot.

I haven’t been out with my camera for years. I need to do it again

Beautiful shots.

We also like heading up to one of the local hills if it looks like being a decent sunset.

here's a humble iPhone shot from a few weeks ago.

It is so easy just to use my phone. I also find my shoulders can't take too much, but did have fun playing with all the settings. A lot was guess work as I think my eyesight was better last time I used it found it hard to check what pictures looked like on the camera screen and glasses got in the way when I looked through the view finder

I got a book called "A year with my camera" and planning to start on that soon!

Lovely photos
I’ve been meaning to go out with my camera recently. It’s only a point and shoot but it’s a decent one that you can adjust settings. I’ve not picked it up since August last year.

A frosty sunrise in mid-January (also just an iPhone).
