Day of arrival

Was looking at ways of getting from Orlando airport to universal hotel via Walmart to pick up some groceries then to the Disney parks the following day using Uber or coach transfers.

Might decide on car hire for a day from mco to universal

Following morning drive to Disney's car care centre and drop the car off.

Is there a way of getting from the car car place to the parks. Or should I use Epcot hotels as a drop off

The Car Care Centre will run a minibus and drop you off wherever you want to go to.

Quicksilver (here on the dibb) offer the service you require and a lot less faff.

Send a PM and get the cost. They are good and reliable.

Had a look on their fares
$70 from mco and $50 from universal to disney $120 total

Car hire is £32 for a days hire plus £10 to park at universal for the night

Effectively its a taxi service, but transfers are part of its business.

The guy who runs it is called Gregory and he is friendly and ‘on the ball’.

We did a supermarket stop on the way to POR once and it was really good. They sit in the car park and when they see you, drive round to the entrance and pick you up.

Just thought it would save the D/L, tolls, insurance faff

They meet just as you come out of arrivals as per norm

You could uber from Uni to Dis... yes I agree its cheaper with the hire, but after 9 hrs on a plane and another in the terminal, i would rather someone else took the strain

Have a great time. Mick will give you directions to Uni and Walmart, he is expert.

Do you mean this Mick of Mick & Joan notoriety? Only spotted this on Forum Spy as I know nothing really about transport over there other than hiring a car.

Always love a car question as you know but I've managed to get to 74 and never sat in an Uber or a Lyft anywhere.

Also haven't been to either Universal park since 2009 so not much help so far am I?

Regular visitor to Walmart at Cagan Crossings but I think the one on Turkey Lake Road might be nearer to Universal.

Yep, it was directed your way !

It is probably easy enough but to direct out of MCO onto what I would suggest would be Sand Lake Road and along to Turkey Lake ?

Hope you are well in these strange times. We are...for want of a better description..surviving

We always use south on to the 417 to get over to Davenport but as you say the north exit towards the 528 then Sand Lake would be best for the Walmart on TLR.

We're doing well thanks but resigned to BA cancelling our flights next month. Avoiding most of the posts on the current issues - like to keep my BP under control.

Trust you and yours are well too.
