How cool. I think that’s a bargain too! I’ll try to get tickets but presumably it’ll be like Glastonbury

Surely the maximum number they’ll be able to get in Upper class to eat will be 28, so very limited number. Unless of course they’ve already pulled the seats out.

Many moons ago I bought my Dad and DH lunch on Concord after it was retired they loved it
We’ve had a few grand travel lunch / dinner experiences from steam trains to Tall Ships
And loved every one
I could see this as right up Geoffa and Darwin’s street and a great trip report read

There are only a TOTAL of 50 tickets avilable, to maintain social distancing. The following quote is taken from the head for points website HERE

"The event will be held on Saturday 12th December with several different time slots available. There are 50 tickets available in total at £50 each.

Tickets will be on sale from 9am on Monday 7th December from this Eventbrite page.

Due to Covid restrictions and social distancing measures there are only 50 tickets available in total, for several different slots during the day"

Shame really as I never had the chance, or cash, to go upstairs on a Jumbo and would have been an interesting experience, shame there isn't more availability.

I am gutted ! I really wanted to do this and I think £50 is a good price I expected it to be more. Unfortunatley we are in Manchester and would struggle to justify the travel.
I thought we still had one left in Manchester? When did Ruby Tuesday go? I was hoping they may have done one up here as well.
Can I justify going to London

I just told DH about this and asked him how much did he think it was and he said £500 so surprised it's so cheap.
Weve been lucky enough to sit in the bubble twice, in the economy seats so no extra cost, or very little) and we managed to use air miles to upgrade to UC last year , the food was superb , I'm going to try for a ticket on monday ... Bob Hope and no hope

The sad thing is so many people see the 747 as an iconic plane from their lifetime. I know I will certainly miss seeing it going over our garden on its way into Heathrow as a passenger flight.

I spent many hours when I was young sat at Heathrow with my dad plane spotting. We loved watching a 747 come in to land.

It’s a shame there haven’t been more meal on board and look around unseen area opportunities before they all retired. Clearly that’s popular.

I’m going to try to get the opportunity when it opens up on Monday, but I’m not holding out much hope.

Ruby Tuesday left MAN on Thursday for a new life in Tel Aviv.
