I have a Miele one with a heat pump that’s very good. Expensive, but they have a great reputation

Beko. The one I have dries really fast and has been an absolute workhorse. They are one of the cheapest on the market too.

Well depends what you mean by recommend 😉
I have had 2 John Lewis own brand (made by AEG I believe) which have been brilliant for 5 years each. However then they are kaput😭but as I have added insurance on to them at the end of the JL 3 years they have tried to repair them. Neither were economically repairable so last time they just sent a new machine, this time they gave me a JL gift card for what I paid. Quite good as it is currently on sale so I have some extra money to spend later😄i’m On my phone at the moment but will find models if you are interested.

We've had this since September. Think it was about £10/20 more at the time.

The Beko heat pump ones win the Which award, I need a new one and that's what I'll buy when I get around to it.

Don't buy an Indesit. The first one I had was one of the recalled ones due to possibility of catching fire. They replaced it with a brand new model and that has now blown the heat sensor which is expensive to replace. My other dryer is a Bosch and I can recommend that one.

I’ve got a Siemens iq300 - wasn’t particularly expensive and had it 3 years now. No issues and really like it.
