If you have out of date or too much tinned or dried stuff try this app
olioex
They have an app and you can offer out of date stuff for free to local people who might appreciate it.

0% Face yoghurt isn't full of sugar - 3g per 100, Meuller is 7%.

Not all sugar free products are full of substitutes - you just have to read the labels - we do as DH is diabetic.

You could blend them with milk to make a shake. Or mix with oats and leave overnight for breakfast.
I see your husbands point but I do hate wasting food.

I’m type two diabetic, so sugar is banned. I have Stevia as a substitute, but don’t bother in yogurts. I get natural plain ones and add fruit.
Morally wrong is the amount of sugar in anything that aims at children to eat. I was shocked to read labels for both myself and my two grand daughters. I wrongly assumed kids things would have reduced or no sugar.

Living on my own the bogof or multipacks really annoy me ! Obviously I don’t begrudge families getting a bargain but I feel I’m subsidising the price cuts.

I won’t buy more than I can eat within a couple of days, I don’t like food hanging about. Nor will I waste anything, so I shop carefully.

Despite Marks and Spencer’s food being more expensive, I actually can get a good selection of food without buying family-size amounts.

Apart from the lemon count on us desserts which I love but are usually in a four pack with a use by date of less than 4 days!

Freeze them, I often buy short date yoghourts for pennies. As long as you defrost them in the fridge there fine.

Linda. We do most of our shopping in M & S. However I know the times to go.

I love the £12 meal deal, not that I want it as I think their wine is rubbish. However I go there the day after it's finished and get the bargains due up that day. Pick up loads and freeze it even if it says you can't. Yes you can.

Best I have had is 2 x desserts for 12p. Love it.

Have to agree Tom went to my local co-op for some milk today came back with a large chicken for £1.25 and a family sized apple pie for 35p amongst some other bargains.
Have a friend who works for sainsburys in stock control and says they have got better but the amount of food they waste is criminal.
