The company he works for are unfortunately getting rid of at least 6000 in the U.K.
they make parts for planes so as no planes are flying they are struggling.

How did yours go?

Yes we are taking it as good. No job losses till at least January when they reassess everything.
Works out 21.8% pay cut which is pants but it is what it is. It’s only mostly Disney fund I suppose. There is a chance we might get a lump sum back but won’t know till March.

I don’t think my job will go anywhere but I might have childcare difficulties as hubby will have to change shifts.

He’s also furloughed again from next week. Drives me nuts them all here

Hi, basically they are dropping around 40% of workforce, and I will be among them possibly... the consultation period of forty five days starts next week. Am trying to be philosophical about it, and am keeping in mind that it has been an amazing fourteen years there, and allowed me to be a great mum as well as having a great job. Here are some of my favourite moments which I hope give an insight as to why I love my job so much... thank you for all the really kind comments and support, I am sure I will find another opportunity in the future! I have always wanted to escort tour holidays, so watch out if you book that type of thing you might end up with me looking after you!

what a shame , I do hope you are lucky but as you say when you think that , you feel like your wishing bad news on others. You certainly look like you enjoy your job which makes it all the worse.
