Eczema help (Warning picture of leg)
Hi guys,
So I've had eczema since I was a baby but the last few years I've kept it under control by cutting out dairy and parabens. But ive had this stubborn patch for about 6 months, now I have about 20 patches all over my body. My doctor has said that I cant have steroid creams now because my skin is too thin and damaged. He said just to moisturise moisturise moisturise! I've been having baths with epson salts to help and I'm using aveeno. Also on antibiotics for infected skin and using a fungal cream. Which creams do you recommend? (E45 makes my skin worse) or how do you keep it under control?

I use Gold Bond from Walmart. By far the best I have used due to the high oatmeal colloidal content. When I dont have any of this I find Aveeno nearly as good.

I find the body shop hemp hand cream is good, also a warm bath with lavender essential oil and no soap/body washes at all. To be honest, neither as good as elocon ointment which i use for small stubborn bits. Do you eat chocolate? Sadly that irritates mine.

Hello,
My little one had bad eczema and the doctors just kept prescribing stronger and stronger steroids which I wasn't comfortable with. We stopped the steroid cream and I started bathing LO's skin twice a day with some well diluted tea tree oil. Then I applied the Body Shop Hemp body butter. This worked wonders. We tried so many steroid creams and moisturisers prior to this. Please if you do decide to give this a go, make sure to do a very small patch test to ensure it doesn't irrate your skin. Please try and resist the urge to scratch Emmie2016, i know how hard it is but even a cold towel can help, oh and get some cotton gloves on so you cant rip into your skin

I dont eat chocolate as I dont eat dairy anymore and I dont like dark. I do have some lavender oil somewhere so i will give that a go. I found the hemp hand cream made mine worse
It's hard because everyone's skin is so different.
