My Wife and I flew to Orlando with Virgin and we didn't book. 72 hrs before the flight I went on the website and I got to choose which seats for free. Took my laptop with me and did the same on the return flight and got two seats in the bubble.

I would not worry as you are also Flying Club members and with young children as long as you ring 72 hrs before they will not split you up.

Hope that helps.

Hi- we booked flights which are Delta but operated by Virgin - so I'm assuming we will fly out on a Virgin plane. Does anyone know if Virgin Flying Club membership can be used to book seats on this type of code-share flight? Thanks

I thought so because I when I was booking initially I could pick a delta flight so I guess it was treated the same way on the app? Can you see your flight on the app as if you can you can book flights through that. I'm sorry I'm not 100% sure though but I'll bump the thread!

Im exactly like you and do just treat it as part of the cost of the flights. The peace of mind is wirth every penny.
