When is the blackout?! I didn't realise! Just plugged in our dates and it came up as free dining offer.

I think it's 30th March - 13th April. I'll go and double-check...

do you have flights included in the total price above?
Alot of dibber book flights seperately so the price they say they are paying for disney will be cheaper than if you include flights. You may find some room catagories have sold out so your being quoted for view rooms which cost more. Standard rooms do tend to go quite quickly even at quiet times |

Booooooooooo!
I've just cottoned on to the fact that I'm never going to be able to fly 'free' with miles + money and the kids in tow. Basically, you can only book miles + money online. Which means I have to do 1 adult and 1 child on each of mine and DH's account. But the miles used have to be split evenly between the two passengers, so therefore I can only use miles to the value of the child's ticket. Example: £817 flight = £1,440 for 1 adult, 1 child. Can use 105,000 miles each for £623 each off the flight (the price of the child ticket) Total still to pay £194. Well that's ruined my little target then as I was going to call up and put 2 adults on my account and 2 kids on DH's account. Oh well - I'll just try to get as much off as possible I guess!

I didn't realise you were restricted like that on M&M.
Thanks for the heads up. Also didn't realise that there was such a difference between an Adult and child fare.

In economy it's 76% of the adult price (due to the taxes difference)

Well. Budget's gone a bit out of the window
I was setting myself a target of £8,500. That's neeeeeeeeeeeever gonna happen now. But I'm quite happy... So: £8,500 target: 2 Adults, 2 Children, August 2018 Known *Hotel 1 - Disney's Yacht Club 11 nights - £6,000 (£252 cashback) *Flights - £1,834. But. VA Upper Class LGW>MCO. Delta / Virgin Premium Economy MCO>BOS>LHR. 390K air miles used. This goes against my not wanting to fly indirect. However, the lure of Upper Class has swayed me. Should be fairly easy on the way back with a 3hr connection time and no need to clear immigration. Estimates *Hotel 2 - Universal RPR 3 nights £455 (using Tesco Clubcard Hotels.com vouchers - I may have more by the time I book) *Universal Tickets - 3 Park Tickets £880 (that's the best I've seen so far) *Spending - have $800 already from cashback, Disney gift card and dollars left from last trip. Think I'll take another £450 worth. Estimated total so far: £9,619 So I'll be about a grand over budget but with VA Upper Class / Premium Economy flights. I think I can live with that Would like to come in at £9,500 though so I'll keep scouting for deals
