the original in Disneyland was the last ride Walt over saw being constructed and when you consider its essentially the same ride that's been there since 1973 its pretty amazing

Definitely a filler ride but fun and very Disney nonetheless.

I was recently in China and went on the POTC ride in Shanghai- now that's a ride!

We like it but only because it's nostalgic- everyone is different but we are not a fan of small world which also fits into this category.
I remember going on Maelstrom before it was frozen and remember thinking "is that it?" But I know a lot of dibbers loved it😎😎
I haven't been on this ride before and hadn't seen anything about it...

Yesterday we got our ponchos on and legged it to the ride and queued for 60 mins...

I couldn't believe how poor it was... Everyone kinds looked around at each other at the end thinking 'is that really it?'... Such a shame when the film is so dynamic they give us such a pedestrian experience
The ride was made many year before the films.

We like it as its a real family ride, all in the boats together and a gentle ride around the scenes. If your expecting a adrenaline rush you ain't going to get it on here. My 75 year old mum loves it and wanted to know did Johnny Depp have to sit there all day. So funny!

This is our family's favourite ride. In That may have something to do with a little nostalgia, but it gets a couple of rides a day when we're in MK... queues permitting

Love the ride, hated the update.

After multiple rides we've managed to blank out JD, but everyone still comes off it banging on about how JD is naff.

We should look on the bright side, at least they haven't put Bono in there... yet!

Pirates was closed in 2015 so we are looking forward to riding it this year. Loved the DLP one (always draws huge queues though it seems) so will be interesting to compare.
