You know what I am using the old saying "you can't knock it until you have tried it" we would kick ourselves if we didn't go, plus we are at rpt for 14 nights so will get early entry.

We aren't going to volcano bay as it didn't interest us especially when we have 2 Disney ones to do which we have never done before because they've always been closed

My trip not for a year and I'll only go if they've sorted out the tapu tapu thing. Would make me majorly cross at the moment.

I'm really not that fused, but since I'll have 14 day Universal tickets, I'll probably give it a go. If we get there and love it, a bonus. Apart from queuing issues, I'm also concerned at it's cramped location between two motorways and apparent lack of shade.
We love Disney's waterparks though, so can always spend extra time there if we give VB a miss. |

We're getting the three park universal tickets as they're the same price as the two park through ATD at the moment. I am a little worried about lack of shade though as we're going with a 2 year old

There seems to be a misconception reagarding lack of shade at VB. I have been to both Disney water parks several times and I really can't see any difference either in terms of shade whilst queuing for a ride or the number of parasols. I think only Aquatica has more shaded areas. As ever it pays to get there early to guarantee a parasol.

On a different note I'm a little gutted .. was looking at height restrictions for the rides on the app and I swear the aqua coaster wasn't always 48" to ride , I thought I looked when it first opened and it was lower than that
