I think as a ride it was actually really ahead of it's time, probably the first really immersive queue line and the personal goodbye at the end was pure magic back in the day. I don't deny it could do with a refurb but I would be gutted if it ever went away completely.

I visited for the first time last October and I loved it! With all the 80s nostalgia around (shows like Stranger Things etc) I'm surprised it isn't more popular. I love "real" rides with animatronics, far more preferable to 3D screens. Jurassic Park was another fave

We all loved it. It is a great ride for non thrill seekers. My DH was disappointed in Universal as he doesn't like simulators and he felt that was what universal had to offer. We did it on our honeymoon in 1994 and we had a wee smile to ourselves while on the ride. Our kids thought we were daft

I didn't know that Jaws had gone - that was the ride I was most looking forward to on my trip next year! I also loved Back to the Future, Kongfrontation and the Beetlejuice show. The Flintstones one was fun :-) I didn't like ET.
