Additional Fast Pass Pilot for select WDW hotels!

when i first saw this it said you also needed to purchase it for a minimum 3 days so for a family of 4 that would be 4 times 50 times 3 plus tax, so do you really think many families would pay basically £500 for 3 days double their fast pass allowance ?
As other posters don't really like the idea but seems so expensive for what you actually gain not sure there will be a huge uptake.
( For us on our upcoming 14 day disney trip that would add just shy of $3000 (£2300) to add to our whole holiday so don't think i will bother)

I read it as long as you had a 3 day or more ticket you could purchase 1 day at $50 @ day . So for a couple $100 extra for the day for 6 fastpass ( 3 of which are unrestricted tiering) and preferred viewing ( which you currently pay extra for on meal packages or dessert parties) is very tempting ... if you can afford club level in the first place.

Personally, I don't have a problem with this. It's not taking away anything from normal guests and I would doubt that it's limited availability and pricing will have much of an impact on Fastpass avaiability or wait times.

Family of 4 cost per ride=$66. Outrageous. Also it has to be bought for 3 days.
This is just the start. I'm convinced this is why they've rolled FP out to partner hotels, so they can charge all of them also. This 'trial' won't remain a trial for just those rooms for long.

My issue is its just going to add to the already oversubscribed fast pass system! When we were there we had numerous experiences of our FP wait being at least 30 minutes. That was without the ride going down or stoppages, just sheer numbers in the fast pass line - quite irritating when the regular line is only 40 minutes.
I was just starting to warm to the idea of saving for another trip...not sure now

Club level guests are already a small amount and a smaller amount again will want to pay $300 per couple for 3 days of this

Money does talk and I can live with that. For example pay for an escorted VIP tour, stay in Club Level etc. Nothing wrong with that.

But this will impact on Joe Public and push them further down the line. Some people will visit once in their life and thats it. I wonder how they will feel.
