Spiderman was definitely a big wow for me first time. It was so different. The start of The Hulk(I was lucky enough to ride this completley alone last year which took it to another level)and FOP also. Sheikra, Manta and Mako I'd add to my list.

Wow moments that are slightly different. WWOHP with a Potter obsessed child is special. Everest with my two daughters last year on their first "real" rollercoaster will Iive with me forever.

Ellen's Energy Adventure (don't laugh at the back). I thought we were just sat in a theatre watching a large-screen movie. Then the seats began to split apart and move under the screen. It was pretty mind blowing at the time.

Spaceship Earth. Just the idea that there was a ride inside the Big Golf Ball was amazing enough but I also thought the planetarium-like projection of the Milky Way at the top of the sphere was excellent (I still do).

The afore-mentioned Spider-Man and Back To The Future rides were also very impressive.

Mine would have to be Falcon's Fury at Busch Gdns. I'd only managed to pluck up the courage the previous trip to eventually go on a proper coaster and I had only done duelling dragons (it was HP ride then). I said at the time if we go back I was going to do all the coasters so DH agreed but I had to do them all. I was fine until I did FF! It was terrifying, and probably the only one I will never do again. I was actually crying when we got to the top (quietly ). I was so scared I was going to fall out of the seat when it tipped forward.

Forbidden Journey - primarily because expectations really weren't very high. I hadn't researched what the ride was like before I went on it and I'm relatively indifferent to the Harry Potter universe, so I was stunned when I first rode it. None of the group I visited were big HP fans but it was a strong contender for best ride of the holiday for all of us. I imagine I'd have felt the same about Gringotts if that had been the first such ride I went on, but in the context of FJ, as spectacular as it was, it wasn't quite as mindblowing.

Spiderman also definitely a contender - back in 2001 I hadn't seen anything like that before, really impressive stuff.

T2 3D at Universal back in about 1998. First time seeing 3D cinema, first time for IRL/screen interaction, was amazing and ground breaking at the time. Still think about it now and sorry I can't see it again.

From our last visit in 2000 the stand out rides were Spiderman, the start of Hulk, the acceleration bit on test track and getting soaked on the Popeye raft ride @ IOA.
So look forward to our next visit to try the newer rides people are raving about here.

Well done for riding FF when being scared.

Each time you do that kind of thing you chip away at your fear.

I can't deny those moving seats got me too My dad spoke of it for years afterwards.

Love Spaceship Earth. Must do every time for me, often more than once.

We wanted to do it again when we came late last year, but missed it by a day
