I don't really think you can compare. Everest isn't as tall but does stop and go backwards. It also doesn't have the length of track that Mako does. So in my opinion EE is a tamer ride than Mako.

You are correct at the 54" height requirement.

Thanks I didn't like the backward bit on EE. Will probably start off on some of the tamer ones and see how I cope!

I'm a bit of a wimp but love Cheetah Hunt in Busch Gardens. Can anyone who has been on both rides tell me how much scarier Mako is please?

I actually think the rides are quite similar, just swap acceleration on cheetah hunt for the air time on mako. Both give that sensation of predators going after their prey. If you love cheetah hunt I think you'll love Mako.

Ride this last week, once was enough ! Much prefer over the shoulder harness, don't feel as safe with just the lap bar, great ride though.

Great footage and information, wasn't planning on going to SW next year but after seeing this I think a change of plan will be coming especially when I show it to DD

hehe Gerry I'm quite the opposite it's the lap bar that makes me want to ride it.

Looks fab and yet another reason to go to Seaworld again.

I love the cheetah hunt as well but it goes upside down.
