I would have preferred the 1st Sept but the low price I found kicks in from 3/9

I had to phone travel up as was having some problems entering my sons DOB when we were looking at flights. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed ( just my experience and maybe got a poor sales rep). They couldn't understand what I was saying and I found it really difficult to understand them. They actually answered the phone "hello" like you would at home. I really hope it works out for the OP. It is a fab price

Thanks there's a possibility dd will be at school on the friday but even if they have a teacher training day she'd be back by the 4th.

Well I'm being emailed by someone that started off as steve and ended as Youan Are they not based in the UK then? I remember having similar issues with Delta call centre too.

No they arnt. They all have British sounding names though. I think they are based in India

I'm pretty sure I read that they were based in India but can't find it now. I phoned quiet a few third party agents and wasn't impressed with any of them

I didn't think travel up got a good name? I think BA will sometimes price match if you phone them.

We have used them before. Their customer service isn't the best but you will be able to access it under BA manage my booking within minutes. For a £600 saving I'd certainly be booking!
