They are selling them over here now as well, though I restrain myself and only have them on holiday

I know right? I actually run the same department in a supermarket over here, and trust me it never looks as good as that

DAY 2 - Friday 19 Aug

Welcome to Day 2. Animal Kingdom for the first day as I think its quite an easy park to ease yourself into.

Started out healthy... didn't last too long Had about a quarter of this, the first morning, think it was about $5 from Publix but it was huge, and really fresh.

Kusafiri Bakery, Africa

Mickey Shaped Cinnamon Roll (for 2) $8.99

This was really good, hot and massive. Meant for 2, I had one of the ears and my dad finished the rest.

Croissant $2.99

Mum went for this. Standard croissant. Nothing more to be said. She also had...

French Vanilla Iced Coffee $4.19

Not the last one of these you'll be seeing Was very sweet, but nice.

Flame Tree Barbecue, Animal Kingdom

First time here but had heard good things. There's a bit of construction going on round it, but it is still open.

Ribs and Chicken Combo $16.49
I had this, and it came with coleslaw, beans and jalepeno cornbread. The cornbread was the only bit I wasn't fussed on, didn't really taste of much either. The ribs and chicken though - wow. Really good. Every time I come back Disney seems to have stepped up their quick service food game.

1/2 Slab of St Louis Ribs $13.99
Mum went for this and enjoyed it too. Came with the same beans, coleslaw and cornbread. Out of the two, I think the chicken was better as it was just so tender and pulled apart really easily - ribs were good too though.

Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork Sampler $19.99
Dad went the whole hog and had a bit of everything. Halfway through eating all this meat he says to me, "its not tonight we've got the reservation at Ohana is it?" Uhh...

The seating area here is huge and mostly under cover. We sat out by the water, and were joined by these folks

None of these zoomed in they were pesky little buggers - or should I say big, that one with the long neck was terrifying. My dad also thought it was a good idea to give the ducks a bit of the cornbread we weren't going to eat... bad idea... especially for me who was sat right by the water as it seemed half of the Animal Kingdom was inches away from my plate of food

Only after leaving did we realise you aren't supposed to feed them either... whoops. Flame Tree Barbecue is a must if you are in Animal Kingdom though. Its a bit on the higher end of QS pricing but the quality was really excellent, I'd definitely come back.
