When can I book for Oct 21
Hi y’all,
I am thinking about booking for Oct 21, does anyone know when these dates might open up? Disney holidays currently only go up to Sept 21. I know pre-pandemic, Oct 21 dates would have opened up in April 2020. Am wondering if the 50 year anniversary is why they might be holding back releasing the dates. Has anyone read anything or know anything about this please? |

Disney blocked out September 26th onwards a few months ago. You were able to book these dates back in March but when everyone started moving bookings to later next year they decided to block it out as they had too many reservations at the time due to it coinciding with the 50th anniversary.
There should be an announcement soon from Disney but who knows when this will be. I think they may get this year out of the way and then tackle those reservations at the start of 2021. You can book off site hotels or Disney Springs hotels (i.e. Hilton Bonnet Creek) but can't book any Disney owned resorts

We’ve booked Virgin Holidays 30 Dec 21 for 3 weeks at Holiday Inn with a view to upgrading when Disney release their hotel prices. If price is not right, we’re happy to stay with this hotel but fingers crossed.

Did you do this in a store ? As I think only packages and holiday reps can book that far in advance? Or am I wrong? ThiNk cos I’m trying to just book flights and car only that I’ve got to sit it out still.
Thanks

You can book online with Virgin for after September 21 with the Swan or Dolphin available. I had a nosey yesterday out of curiosity. No option for tix at the moment of course but it will be a matter of time when they are released (probably at a higher price point being the 50th anniversary). I would give them a call to see if you can book car and flights only though.
