Mobile Celebration - Halloween

Hello,

Was planning a visit to celebration on Halloween for kids to trick or treat...but Halloween is also my birthday! More I think about it I would rather go for a nice meal somewhere and then see Fantasmic! As I've read celebration gets grid locked on halloween and parking limited? My question is, are the houses decorated for halloween in the week run up to halloween? So at least we can walk round and see them all before the day? Any help would be greatly appreciated x

Hi
The houses are decorated before but trick or treating on the 31st is a must! The houses are unbelievable, we got there about 3ish, walked round the lakes, we then booked a table at the tavern for 4:30(great food) Because we were there earlyish the parking was not a problem

HI there

The houses are decorated in the run up to Halloween. We were debating going that night just for a walk around but we might Uber there and walk back out to 192 to pick up an Uber home as the traffic seems like it might be manic. We were there at Christmas time last year and the Sheriff was there directing traffic as it was so busy with people coming to see the houses especially at Jeter bend. I thin we might go to old Town as they have stuff on too.

There was no problem with traffic or parking at 2pm, and it started to get busy at about 5.30. We had lunch at Town Tavern and had a walk around the lakes and saw homeowners decorating their houses and they were lovely to chat to.
