Internal hard drive for editing video?
I have been advised to fit an internal HD for editing from my mini dv camcorder, well I have sourced this one ...
misco/productinform...affiliate=2004 Any good? PC World will fit it for free under the 5 year warranty even if I buy it from t'internet ( just not cover it warranty wise) Ian

Andre, I took out the PC Performance 5year warranty with them 2 years ago which apparently includes installation of hardware. I paid £55 for 1GB of ram and they fitted it for "free" a few months ago. I did query this with the engineer bloke today and he said bring in the drive and we will fit it for free but it wont be covered under the warranty of the PC.

Hi Ollie,
I noticed the drive from Misco was a SATA drive , you will need to check if your motherboard can connect to a SATA drive or you may have to get a SATA control board fitted as well.

The hard drive I have in it now is a SATA HD so I guess it will be OK.
Here is the spec for my PC uktsupport/advent/pc/t11.htm I ordered it this morning so I hope it's OK. Ian
