Maximum size in easy uploader

things like this used to be set by a variable in PHP. many moons ago, the default was 8mb, i just tried a 40mb 5,494px x 5,839px image and it uploaded ok, but just sat there on "processing image" (its been ~5 mins now and its still processing. im guessing the image resizer tool that shrinks things back down to a low res version has messed the bed and given up)
