We took a gopro this year to Florida I agree some people are inconsiderate of others with them but we were always aware of others around us. It's the best thing we did love our holiday footage all filmed on the Hero 3 attached is the link if you want a look. Our 2 week holiday in 11 minutes amazing! Can't recommend them enough great fun!

Of course, the lenses, sensors etc are cheaper quality (you would hope) but they do seem to create watchable footage.









Im always going to favor a GoPro, but I think if your only going to use it on holiday, it "could" be an option... (also.. note in Florida on a sunny clear day you get perfect light too) which would help.

Would be good if any owners have any disney footage to view... (or night time footage)

We bought ours for our holiday this year and it's a great bit of kit you can use it just about anywhere on anything. Also the software you get for editing is really easy to use 😊

Thanks! Most was filmed on a monopod hand held and the coaster footage was on a chest mount 😊 we were really pleased with it. Because the lens is wide angled you pretty much got what ever you pointed it at we found it ok.

I would stick with a couple of olympus toughs (in our case ) or similar. Conventional compact size, drop proof, waterproof to 3m and perfect for Discovery Cove, 15 mpixels, good zoom. Large led screen. They are absolutely bomb proof, take great pictures and our latest, last year, was £99 in Argos. Whilst they now cost more, they are very good indeed to the extent that we rarely take out our grown up camera.
The problem with a go pro is its clumsy shape and the fact that you don't know what picture quality you have taken til you download it.

Love that.

Stabilisation is very good.

How are you holding it,did it feel unnatural.

I would love to do something similar, trying to work out if practical.

Now the next question, my first day is a shopping day, do I buy a to pro in the. US (where?)
