SJCAM not playing videos on phone

Hi guys!

I recently got an SJCAM for going out on my horse, bike and skiing.

Have used it a few times and love it! The only thing is when I connect to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) and download the photos and videos, only the photos go into my gallery. I have to wade through 'My Files' to find the videos and they play there but its poor quality and I can't do anything with it (e.g share on facebook etc! ) I can upload to the computer and the quality is fine and obviously can share on there but I want to do it on my phone ideally.

Any ideas? I am not techy at all!

im assuming youre on about the wifi version? cant help, sorry... ive only got the original version...

it might not help, but you might want to try a better file manager tool to find your videos - i like ES file explorer: play.google/store/apps/d...roid.pop&hl=en

using that, you should at least be able to copy/move the video file somewhere accessible by the facebook app and upload it.

It sort of makes me think that it's streaming the video across wifi from the SJ Cam perhaps?

I know this is an option on GoPro and the quality is limited to conserve battery/bandwidth/I dunno

... But then you can download to the phone which takes a considerable amount of time. The quality is then better.
