I have never done breakfast in the park as I only ever go off season so have never been offered it (they do it when the hotels are full apparently). So you might be lucky there.
Otherwise, get to breakfast 7am as by 7.30 it is much busier. The Sequoia Lodge is not as much of a zoo as the cheaper hotels, because you are shown to your seat first before you get your food. But it can still get very busy. That means you will be nicely poised at the park gates for 8am opening, and can then do lots of character meets with low queues! Fantasyland and Tomorrowland have several rides open during EMH. Unfortunately Peter Pan's Flight is closed at the moment, which is a shame because EMH is much the easiest way to do that ride without a queue. But you could use the time to get into Dumbo and Buzz Lightyear with no queue and save yourself time later.

Re Disney Express with the luggage - when you get off the train you need to go upstairs in the station with it to drop it off. I have no idea how long it takes them to get it over to the hotel, sorry.
Too late to change now, but in my opinion, next time save your money, you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes. I do understand people wanting to go straight to the park - but if you want to go to the hotel anyway to sort out breakfast and find your room, then you might as well skip the whole Disney Expresss thing. However, we do always use the luggage transfer from the hotel on checkout day, but that is only 11 Euros per room, as opposed to the £16 per person for Disney Express.

Thanks Gill.
Yeah, at first I booked the Disney Express thing, thinking that since we arrived at 2 we would probably want to spend a few hours in the park straightaway, then go back to the hotel 6ish for check-in and dinner and not go out again, so it seemed that being able to go straight into the parks on arrival would be the best use of time. Then I went and booked Inventions for 6.15pm which rather messed with that plan. So then by the time we're done, I guess we're just in time to (hopefully) catch the fireworks - so then late back to the hotel! And probably won't want to be dealing with checking in etc then. Although maybe that is most efficient after all. I can't decide. I am definitely going to look into having breakfast in the park which would be the ideal solution! Otherwise might depend what time we all wake up - I don't want to waste EMH, but equally nobody is going to have a fun day if we're overtired and ratty. |

Definately queue for the princess pavillion well before park opening time! I got there at 9.40 and finally got my tickets at 11.15 for 3.50 that afternoon.
Be aware tho that when you return at your allotted time there is still at least a 30min q to meet a princess! Its all totally worth it tho! They spend a decent amount of time talking and having photos and my 4 and 2 year olds absolutely l9ved it! |

Sorry to gate crash your post. But why can't you meet Anna and Elsa? My DD will be so disappointed.

There are no meet & greets with Anna & Elsa, they are in the parade & will be in the singalong show from 4th June when Frozen summer starts.
The Anna & Elsa meet & greet brought the princess pavilion to a standstill when they did them at Christmas 2014, queues were 5 hours + Yikes! |
