Mobile Security at Eurostar

In light of recent events, does anyone know if the security has been beefed up both ends of the Eurostar? Has anyone travelled on it recently? Are their luggage scanners and thorough checks? I'm obviously being very paranoid but would like a little peace of mind as I can imagine anyone wanting to travel across Europe would at the moment.

We went in Feb and security was excellent then and I can't see how they could beef it up any more. There were full luggage scanners, body metal detectors, random checks, sniffer dogs and lots of security personnel.

If you are going to DLP there are also very thorough checks getting in to the parks and in to the hotels. It all felt very safe.

It's like travelling through an airport. You have to have luggage scanned and full body scanners etc.

Also a concern of mine, security is definitely more thorough than on the ferries. We're meant to be driving to DLP in June but i'm really worried about the port security
