I was just on Oasis of the Seas, which was my first RCI cruise, and I wrote my summary of it on here. It should still be on page 1.

Interestingly my friends who were also sailing with us, have done two other RCI cruises, both on Explorer of the Seas, and have since stated that they prefer Explorer. Which is interesting given all the fuss that RCI make of the Oasis class.

It is also receiving its "Amplification" RCI's current refurb program, so you should be in for a lot of nice new bits on board. I think you've made a good decision. I saw her two days ago in Southampton actually as I was there for a meeting and she's still over here for the tail end of her European season it seems.

I did see she was back in Europe next year and was considering her myself! But I want to try a Quantum Class next I think.

We recently got off the Explorer a few weeks ago and had a fantastic cruise, we have been on the Adventure of the seas too which is Explorers “sister”. The ships are lovely but I find they can feel a little closed in as the street down the middle with the shops mean less windows to see out, and the street can get very crowded as it is the main way to get from one end of the ship to the other, The cafe and pub on the street are great for people watching though! That said it really is a small quibble and we did have a fantastic cruise!
We have also been on the Serenade which is a smaller ship but has lots of light and windows and is still one of my favourite ships, we are booked on her sister the Radiance during a month “down under” in February

You can ask your cabin steward for robes, and if they have any they will happily supply them
There are other drinks packages besides the alcohol one, which include things like mock tails, posh coffees fresh juices bottled water, etc.

Me and my hubby on Explorer of the seas on the second formal night last month

Last October we were on Vision of the Seas for a transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami and we've just changed our upcoming cruise in January to 9 days on Explorer which is a much bigger ship than Vision (Vision is similar to Disney Magic and Explorer closer to Disney Dream loosely!) I was slightly nervous pre-cruise having mainly only sailed Disney but it was great and hence happy to sail with them again.

We really enjoyed Vision and the whole RCI experience - I certainly wouldn't bother with the soft drinks package again (we opted for it as we had lots of sea days) but may look at any offers that come up for the drinks package. One thing we did that we may repeat is the speciality dining package - we took the option for 3 different restaurants and really enjoyed the change in food.

We only have 6 nights and we're not big drinkers so unless there is a good deal on the package we might jut pay as you go.
I'll just have to forgo a nice glass of red with my dinner

We like them but have only been on bigger ships, independence and anthem so far and symphony booked for Easter. I think the reason my husband likes them so much is there is so much to do on the bigger ships, I am not sure how he would feel about the smaller ones but if it was an itinerary we really wanted to do we would give it a go!

We like them, only ever been on indy and navigator. Lots to do. We preferred navigator.

We are recent celebrity converts since our last cruise and booked again with celebrity next year due to RCL pulling indy and putting their prices up massively.

Have you logged into your account? If you print off your set sail pass and documents the luggage tags are there.
