Buffet and not eating?

Hi,

Booked quite a few early Character Buffets and i am not really a breakfast eater, i like a coffee and no food till at least 11am so not fussed about the food.

If i am sitting at the table when the Characters are around but not actually eating are you still charged 1 credit? Or can i save mine for better restaurants and the savings be used elsewhere?

Hm that one might be difficult - because how can you prove you're not eating? You could be sharing a plate. You might have to sit that one out

I would say that you will be charged 1 credit. The only thing I could suggest if you didn’t want to sit this one out was to take a ziplock bag with you and at least take some goodies that you can eat later.

you would be charged.

It is about more than the food - it gives easy access to the characters, I imagine lots of people would try to tag on non-eaters if it were allowed.

i've been sat with a tube fed child and had to pay for that child because they say it's not just about the food, after much discussion they refunded half but that was after insisting on speaking to a manager

Yes you pay as they can’t police who eats and you are enjoying atmosphere and characters. Try brunch or lunch.remember time difference may make you feel hungry earlier.

Book the late breakfast time, we went at 11.30 in September for the Crystal Palace had breakfast and was offered the buffet lunch if we wanted. There you go problem solved. (Cookies at 8am).

Anyone aged over 3 will be charged a credit regardless of whether they eat or not as you are paying for the experience and they can't really check if people have eaten or not as its self serve and you could have eaten off of someones else's plate even if you don't take your own.
Its one of the reasons we don't really do breakfasts as its a very poor use of a credit for how much we eat.
