Handles or knobs?
I am stumped again and need your help please.
I have attached a photo of the chest of drawers showing the attached knobs and three of the handles which I have just balanced on the knobs for show. The knobs were easy to fit as I just replaced the then existing knobs. Done in a few minutes. The other option is cup handles. Firstly I think I prefer the handles. I think they make more of an impact. However it would mean a bit of work for DH and, as usual, it would turn into a more difficult job than first thought. Also, the room is a guest room and on average is only used for about three weeks per year. I wonder if it is worth the extra work to attach the handles. What do you think? Edited at 06:11 PM. |

I like the cup handles but for a guest room I probably would just leave the knobs .

I also prefer the handles. But also not sure it worth the extra effort if it is in a room that is rarely used

My dh recently put 30 of these on as you know! They really werent that much of a trouble. The hole from where the nob is currently, used this as a bit of a guide and placed the handle over so hole was middle top inside sort of thing. X
PS are you painting the drawers? X

The finer details make the design!
The laziness in me wants to say just go with knobs but the designer me says most definitely handles. |

Keep the knobs otherwise you will always be thinking about the redundant hole left by the original knobs should you replace them with the handle

Mr T - I was rather counting on the handles hiding the original hole.

I looked at these (we needed 17) but decided to buy ceramic knobs instead so I got them from TKMaxx and mix & matched different navy and white designs, and they really brightened it up.

I love the handles, but to make it more interesting but simpler to do, I would replace them with ceramic knobs too. I’ve seen this done a lot lately and it’s a gorgeous way to brighten up a set of drawers easily
