Flew into mco via manchester virgin my experience yesterday
Checked in with Virgin and was given a virgin pin badge and told to attach to the sunflower lanyard which I could obtain at special assistance.
My luggage was all marked up as priority so I wouldn’t have to wait forever for it to arrive on the carousel. Was even told which gate we would be departing from. Allocated welfare bulkhead seats without asking. Sunflower lanyard and pin badge recognised by everyone in Manchester. Breezes through priority security line and down to my free lounge access where again I was whisked in and seating found. Arrived at departure gate and was allowed to board immediately. Staff on flight very attentive. Upon arrival into MCO I wasn’t expecting the lanyard to be recognised but how wrong was I. As we walked into immigration we were led straight over to the us citizens queue and breezes through within 5 minutes. Cases came up almost straight after the crew luggage. Felt very well looked after. Now getting up to go and spend my birthday in Animal Kingdom so guest services first for a DAS pass (another first and again something I’m worrying over)

Sounds like it was a very positive and attentive experience - very pleased for you as you were concerned. I too worry about things that I have not had to do before etc.
Hope you have a fantastic birthday and enjoy Animal Kingdom. x

Thanks for posting. I've been wondering if it would be recognised in MCO as the immigration queues can be very challenging for us.

That is good to hear.
DS’s lanyard was recognised last year in MCO, but the year before it was not, but they were pretty new then. We are off in a few weeks and as his health has not been great recently, a smooth transition through immigration will be a blessing. Have a fantastic trip
