Six Novices on the Slopes...Day 7.

Tuesday 13th January

Cant believe today is our last day. Before we came to Lofer and tried the Skiing I had really wanted to spend today in Salzburg but everyone was making such a good go of the Skiing we decided to hit the slopes once more. We are also planning a return trip next January and will hopefully go to Salzburg then.

We arrange to meet Thomas up on the Nursery Slopes at 10.30am and we are able to have a lie in today until about 8.30am. Woohoo.

We meet Thomas as arranged and off we go to some new Slopes. Wow is all I can say. The views were amazing and so worth the nerves I had at trying the new slopes.

All in all I feel I made an OK go at the Skiing. Will definetly loose 3 or 4 stone for our next skiing trip & find those leg muscles which will hopefully make the breaking on the skiis a lot easier.

Here I am having a cringe moment. This was a new chair lift I tried today and didnt quiet master the knack of getting off and here I am thinking I am going back down again and the poor lift attendant had to run out to help me. Worst part was the kids had arrived at the top before me and our instructor had tipped the kids off that this would happen and they were all ready with cameras. :angry:
