Shame CBR was a low point for you. We are not big CBR fans overall, we stayed there a couple of years ago but the only thing we had from the food court was the large pizza on 2 occasions and it was fine.

CBR itself wasn't a low point, just the food court. We actually liked the resort and particularly like the outside space for sitting out in the evenings which other resorts we've stayed at have lacked. We thought the main pool was good too. If the food court improves, then it would be a serious contender for future visits.

We ate at POR once when we were staying at POFQ and I agree that it's a better food court. However, we never went hungry at CBR. I really enjoyed the chicken wrap there, although the jerk chips were definitely different to what you had - I think you were swizzed there as the proper ones were delicious, like kettle chips.

You've definitely made me add BoG lunch (we normally only go for breakfast there) and Blaze to our list for this year.

I think the food at CBR has changed quite a bit as reports I'd read of yummy sounding things (like roast beef pittas) are no longer available and the hand made chips were dire - a bit like poppadoms that haven't been fully cooked . The chicken wrap I had was nice, but didn't include half the ingredients actually listed in the description. The best thing ais the turkey BLT and large pizza.. We managed to find something each time we did eat there, but didn't eat there often as it wasn't great and had limited choice. Whereas we ate at both POR and POFQ quite regularly. We like a good food court as there are times when we just want to chill at the resort and not have to leave in order to have something decent to eat. Hopefully things will improve with the refurb

We got them in the shop at CBR. I'm sure I saw them somewhere else too - possibly World of Disney or the Emporium. They're a great treat to bring home

We have some downtime every day, so whilst the children were sorting their pins out or catching up with friends back home, I would write up my report. I definitely found it easier than waiting until I was back, plus it was all fresh in my mind.

Depending on how hungry you are, 1 pizza between 2 would be enough. Especially if you want to leave room for something like a Ghirardelli's ice cream If you're pretty hungry though, get 1 each. They have boxes so that you can take away anything you don't manage to eat too

Really enjoyed your report! We stayed at cbr last year and found the food fine but I think that's partly because I'm gluten free and am generally pleased to get anything, (The gf turkey blt with a gf choc chip cookie was my favourite), the kids only really wanted burgers, nuggets, pasta and pizza and hubby had expected all the food in wdw to be awful theme park food so was happy with everything! Also, we only had a week onsite and I did think it might get a bit repetitive for a fortnight.

Really enjoyed your report and now I'm hungry and wishing we were going back!
