Thanks for letting us know, Simon.

Next winter is the first time in five years that all of our family are at the villa, so had to tell them, no go on TL.

At least Lesley and I have a week on our own to recover after they all leave.

We sneaked in a trip to B.B. on the day that they closed last year and we’re the last people on the raft ride having missed it for the two previous years, so really glad to see a closure at the end of October. Fingers crossed that the dates stay the same!

I remember a few years ago Disney used to swap over annually which one was closed, we always went in late October years ago and each year one or the other was shut, but they alternated.

Isn't it funny how both parks are pretty similar, but different people tend to have a definite preference for one or the other? When my kids were younger, we used to love Blizzard Beach, and it was my favourite water park because of the theming. However, over the last few years, DH and I have still loved the theming of Blizzard Beach but have preferred the big wave pool and the other water rides of Typhoon Lagoon!

Nice to have this much notice of which park is closed when we visit though, gives us time to plan properly. Thanks, Simon.
