Another recommendation for the Captain's Grille - we have eaten there several times, always a good meal, and an easy stroll from EPCOT.
You could then catch a bus from the Yacht/beach Club back to MK where it would be a short walk back to your hotel. Alternatively, you could stroll back through EPCOT (if not too long after the park closes) to catch the Monorail back.

What about getting the boat from the Contemporary across to Fort Wilderness to do Trails End, its a buffet and the food is great. Fort Wilderness is also a great resort to have a wander round, you can go into the stables to look at all the horses and they also do carriage rides.

The Wave was one of our favourite places last trip actually! It's visually stunning and the menu majors on local and sustainable produce. We were only able to get a lunch reservation and most of the really unusual stuff was on the dinner menu, but we still had a great meal. Would love to do breakfast buffet there too - I've read a great review on the Disney Food Blog and the macadamia nut pancakes sound yummy!
Artist Point was a favourite too, gorgeous food in relaxed surroundings, and we took the opportunity to see the water pageant afterwards. But it is a Signature restaurant so would be 2TS.

I would recommend Captains Grille too. It was one of our favourite meals last time. I struggle with table service at Epcot as there's so many great counter service options that we want to try! We did enjoy Teppan Edo though and would go there again.

I've just been looking into Captains Grille thinking it looks good for us and I've just read that it'll be shut from mid may for a refurbished until the autumn.
Back to the drawing board then |

Another vote for Coral Reef.We had a late lunch reservation last time and it was a great way to get out of the heat and relax for a while and I thought the food was pretty good.

Hello, It looks like the Captain's Grille will be at Ariel's at the Yacht club from mid May to Autumn 2017, so it seems that it'll still be open. Susan
