Extending magic band

Hi,
We are staying at Disney from the 10th-29th August and from the 24th-29th is a complimentary stay. We extended our tickets to 21days.
We have the dining plan until the 24th we never ever use up all our meals, do you think they would extend the use of the magic band but keep the amount of meals we have? Only so we can use our remaining meals up?

Hope that makes sense.

Magic bands work for anyone, you dont have to be staying on site, but the meals will expire at midnight on the 24th.

You'll be able to use your credits on the day your paid stay at POFQ ends - up until midnight. Any that are left over you can use to stock up on snacks and drinks that you can then use for the rest of your stay. You won't be able to extend the credits further to use for meals though.

One question (well 2 really), did you book direct with Disney and is the complementary part as the result of issues with a previous stay? Reason I am asking is because if both answers are yes, then it may be worth contacting them direct about this. If they have just extended your stay but not assigned any extra meal credits, then then maybe willing to extend the expiry date on the free dining.
What have you got to loose. If they extend the expiry, get it in writing/email.

Good point Can't hurt to ask, especially if the complimentary stay was due to previous issues.

Yes we booked direct with Disney and the complimentary stay was due to issues last year. So I suppose if you don’t ask you don’t get.
Who would be best to speak to we had to call America to get the complimentary stay added on. Or do we speak to our holiday booked with uk disney?

I would E.mail guest services on the WDW site, it will be transfered to someone who will be able to make the decision

explain the situation, i would say 90% chance they will extend it
