Help me decide Hoop de do or Cali grill?
Two adults two kids aged 11 and 9, two credits left on the dining plan, totally torn between a lovely posh meal with views of the fireworks at California grill or fun evening at Hoop de Doo revue! Not had experience of either but read lots of great things about both. Any thoughts to help me decide?

Totally different experiences...like comparing chalk and cheese. I'd go on which experience you want the most...and you think your family will enjoy the most...perhaps look at menus, that may help you decide?

Cali Grill would certainly be my choice, I didn't enjoy Hoop-De-Doo, the food was bog standard fried chicken and ribs, definitely not worth the 2 dining credits in my opinion.

I love the hoop di doo, done it 4 times. I enjoyed the food, but the main draw is the show, so funny.

I would choose Cali Grill for sure. However DD10 adored the Hoop de do and would definitely choose that. DD8 couldn't decide between the two but eventually said Cali Grill.

Formal dining doesn't appeal to me at all (however informal it can be). I'd rather eat chicken with my fingers and enjoy a show so HDDR!

So different hard to compare. We enjoyed the Hoop de Doo show my 7 year old thought it was brilliant but for food I would choose Cali Grill

We've gone for Cali Grill as Hoop de Doo seemed like a real faff to get to and from!

Thanks everyone, I thought I would canvas opinion here before approaching the family, I know they are very different experiences and your replies helped me decide that it would be okay either way and to give them the choice. As soon as I started describing Hoop De Doo to the kids I knew we wouldn't be going to Cali Grill, they are really excited about it, I don't know if it's because I said they would be able to eat with their fingers!
