does anyone know when the football season starts up in 2018?

The MLS season will start in March and go through to December (playoffs). Do you mean soccer or football as the Florida Gators only have a womens soccer team?

Soccer and Football are two different games.
Orlando City is the only MLS soccer team in Florida.
The Gators are the University of Florida based in Gainsville, and play various sports, but as Tim says, the women play soccer and the men play football.
