Which beach resort close to Tampa.

We are planning on flying 2 days earlier than we first thought due to a bank holiday I forgot about

We will fly into Tampa so want 2 nights somewhere relatively inexpensive and close to the beach (not too fussed which one as we can drive to CW) and still fairly close to Tampa so we can visit Busch or the Florida Aquarium. I've looked at Tampa Bay, St Pete and Treasure Island - Clearwater is too expensive now.

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Have you looked at Dunedin or Safety Harbor, both really pretty small places but 10/15 minutes drive away from Clearwater so might be worth a look? I know that Dunedin also has some B&B's which might be interesting and there is at lest one hotel in Safety Harbor.
