Hi, we used the free TCD tickets and just paid the extra few dollars for the 'boots'... we did enquire about the preferred seating but were told by the reservations staff at Dixie it wasn't worth bothering with as we had good seats anyway...must admit when we got there it looked like all the seats had excellent views and it seems the only additional with preferred seating was front row( only advantage I could see was if they threw a carnation to you... the front row ladies got them! ?). Wouldn't bother with the popcorn... you get completely stuffed with the amount of food... although they do give out doggy bags if you want them! Also you can buy the flags separately if you want it. You need to weigh up which of the extras are essential for your group and work out if it's just best to buy add ons. Whichever you choose, the show is excellent entertainment and a scream... enjoy!

Thanku all for previous replies,

We have now booked Dixie Stampede for Sat 5th November at 6.30... does anyone know if this is the start time of the main show or of the pre-show?

Thanks

Cinders

Another question...do you think it is better to order your tickets before leaving the UK, or wait until you arrive and see if there are any coupons in the books found at various places in the area?

Cheers

TCD is the cheapest place for the Dixie STampede tickets. All seats are good, there is a lot of food, and it is a great night, better than Arabian nights.
