We usually go to the saturday nite cruse at Olad Town, but wont be going again. Its ok for a look round... if you like cars, but thats it really. Celebration, we love it there, we have popped in there usually on our going home day, on the way back to the airport, i love the market street cafe, the kids love the milk shakes

Best thing about Celebration is the snow from the lamp posts at Christmas.
When are you going ?

We went to Old town with our 18 month old and didnt think there was a lot there to keep her entertained. We went an evening early in the week I think monday or tuesday. It did seem rather run down. But maybe a saturday night would be better.
Celebration definatly not a lot for a small child to do. it reminded us of stepford, the area was really nice the market cafe restarant was nice as was the food served there. But the whole area was just a little too perfect. Also we found it quite difficult to find our way out of celebration. This year tom tom goes too. I would say its worth a visit on one of your chill out days but remember to take stuff for your toddler to do. |

My DS and DH loved Old Town when we went to see the saturday night cruises, I think it all depends on wether or not you appreciate classic cars etc.
Celebration is beautiful, I would love to live there. Market street cafe is great and cheap for food - it is just relaxing and a beautiful place to visit. Great for a relaxing chilling day! |

I agree
Have a nosy around Celebration, its beautiful. Have an ice cream and a rock on the chairs and imagine you stayed there. As for Old Town. I went for the first time last visit. It was great to see. Loads of old cars all done up and plenty or rides and entertainment on for kids of all ages. Bit of advice, get there early as parking can be a nightmare. Tink xx |

We spent a Sunday morning at Celebration on our recent trip ... there was a lovely farmers market packed with gorgeous food to eat (eveything from cookies and cakes to home made burgers) gifts, smellies, jewellery etc.
We had a long nosey around, a lovely walk round the lake, a bit of shopping in the 'proper' shops and lunch ... a fab relaxing time away from the theme parks. I thought that the ice cream parlour might have been closing down though? It was really scruffy compared to last time we went, with hardly any sundaes on the menu and half of the tables cordoned off. It would be sad because it used to be lush! I have to say I'm not that keen on Old Town though, sorry. |

celebration is lovely for a drive around especially at thanksgiving or halloween when all the houses are decorated there are a few nice shops and restaurants and a nice walk around the lake, but not much to do there for a day, just a nice change for an hr or so, it's just a pretty white picket fenced 'perfect' town really.
