boxing day shopping
I'm looking at Florida Mall and Prime Outlets. Anyone know how busy they are on Boxing Day?
Are there any good bargains to be had? |

I think that you will find that Boxing Day is a UK tradition.

As 26 December falls on a Saturday, you'll probably see normal trading hours that day. Therefore the malls and stores will be busy.
Hope that helps.

Boxing Day doesn't exist here, it's just another day. No special sales, most people back at work. Long lines in shops of people exchanging unwanted gifts and buying wrapping paper at 1/2 price.

There are some sales, but mostly for Christmas items like decorations, trees, lights etc.
Most of the shops have been stripped of their stock in the last-minute rush and are re-stocking. |

We went to Premium Outlets on Boxing Day last year, the shops were open earlier than normal. We got there at 9am and couldn't park at the outdoor car park as it was full even then, but easily parked on the multi storey. We left around 1pm and the queues to get parked were ridiculous, would have taken an hour to get in! Shops were not busy when we arrived, but were when we left. Don't know if the bargains were better as it was our first trip to the outlets that visit, but had some fabulous deals in Converse, amazing prices on 'random' shoes! Go early and leave early-ish would be my advice!
