The reason I ask is that my LEGOLAND tickets arrived today from floridatix and in it was a $10 off at PlanetHollywood. So I googled planet Hollywood and this is where it sent me. Ive never been to Orlando/WDW before and to me it looks like/is a new area.

Obviously I was wrong and it was something else before, But thanks all for the help of clearing it up. Ill keep my eye out for it when we go as it also seems to have a Lego shop (Sons a massive Lego fan)

Yes, it's the new boat dock for the boats going from the resorts and from the dock behind the House of Blues.

Make sure Planet Hollywood will be open when you're there, it's closing for a major refurb next year. The Lego shop is huge there, your son will be spoilt for choice

Mole83 - it's a legitimate question. If you've never been before and you've just started researching how are you supposed to know what or where different buildings and locations are. Ask away, that's what this site is all about. There are some incredibly knowledgeable people on here and I'm sure no one will mind any questions you may have.

Mole83, I picked up a map of Disney Springs when I was there last week. If you'd like it PM me your address.

It's well worth a visit. All the busses from the hotels converge here so it's a useful hub for getting around.

There is also a lot of shops, a bowling alley, cinema and dining places to wile away the hours.

It has been going through major reconstruction (hence the building site) to change it from Downtown Disney to the new format. I think it may be further ahead than the Satellite shows (not sure when those pictures were updated)

The birds eye pictures look a lot worse than what you see when you get there, it's all covered by hoardings and still we'll worth a visit or two! Lego shop is amazing and a lovely place to spend a few hours.

I was there a few weeks ago and I would say it's about 75 - 80% done. The remaining work looks to be about 50% completed as well. Of course there's the Planet Hollywood refurb to be done and Disney Quest. What they've done is superb. BTW anyone who likes cocktails, drop into Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar!
