That was more than likely a glitch - the change was made at midnight, and your post is timed as 12:12am so you might just have got in before the 'switch' was 'flipped' as it were.
I booked our holiday at 6.30pm yesterday.

We booked yesterday at about 10:30
 strangely availabilty was there when we searched on a phone, but not the pc or ipad ! Still, we got what we wanted, so can't complain
