We will be booking a disney hotel stay for the beginning of the holiday, and hoping to send my mum and daughter and postpone the return magical express trip to the airport trip so we can get a smaller car. Is that possible or do you have to get the ME on the day you checkout

Sorry but I don't understand your query are you asking if ME can go somewhere other than the airport in the middle of your stay?

It's only available on check in and check out day. Are you only hiring a car for part of your holiday? If so, what about booking to pick it up from the Disney Car Care Centre instead?

No I was hoping to get a smaller car for the whole holiday. I was hoping to get a small car to me and the luggage to and from the hotel, whilst my mum and daughter used the ME so I could put suitcases on the back seat. We have a villa for the last two weeks so I was hoping I could drop them off at the hotel, they use the ME back to the airport and I return to the villa and get the cases.

Okay, I think I see what you're saying. You're at Disney to start with followed by 2 weeks in a villa. You only want to hire a small car and you would pick that up at MCO on arrival with all the luggage, while your mum and daughter catch the DME to your Disney resort. Then when you fly back home, you want to drop your mum and daughter back at the Disney hotel to catch the DME back to MCO, while you return to the villa to get the cases, drive to MCO, return the car and meet up with your mum and daughter there to fly home. Is that right? If so, then you definitely won't be able to do that as you can only us the DME on the day that you check in and out of your Disney hotel. You can't use it 2 weeks later after your villa stay.
