Hi,
Attraction Tickets Direct, have asked us to post the following on their behalf as this thread is closed.

Everyone was offered and will receive a full refund. However, I offered customers impacted by this error, the opportunity to re-book discounted tickets using the funds they had already paid us as a deposit. We will also include all of the current added value such as the free boggy creek airboat ride in the new, discounted bookings.

There seems to be some confusion over whether we were refunding or indeed offering a gesture of goodwill. We will certainly do both and we are definitely not trying to benefit from this error.

Perhaps we should have specified the exact goodwill discount in the original email and / or automatically refunded all bookings. However, we did commit to offer best possible prices and thought it best to wait to refund customers until we knew whether they wanted to use the funds towards an amended, discounted booking.

As soon as I heard about this mistake, I got more staff on the phones and left my family to go straight into the office.

We apologise to all the customers impacted and I am personally sorry for any inconvenience or confusion caused.

We will continue to do our best to rectify the situation and get full refunds to customers who want them.
